Fold by Fold is a research library of ecommerce store design, made for the people who build and optimize stores.
Every store is documented page by page (homepage, product page, collection, cart) on desktop and on mobile, so you can study how a real brand solves a page rather than guess from a homepage screenshot.
Each page is broken into the sections it is built from, named the same way across every store. That is what lets you put one store’s review wall next to another’s, alongside its colours, type, layout and the tech it runs on.
Pages are captured automatically, then every store is reviewed by a person before it is published. Fold by Fold records what stores do; it does not rank them or claim a pattern performs well. The judgement is yours.
