Fold by Fold is a research library of ecommerce experiences. This notice explains what information we use when you visit the public site, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information you choose to provide
If you subscribe, we collect the email address you enter so we can send the newsletter. If you submit a store through our submission form, that form is provided by Tally and its own privacy notice also applies. Please do not include sensitive personal information in free-text fields.
Analytics on public pages
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregated traffic and Microsoft Clarity to understand how public pages are used, including interactions such as clicks, scrolling, and session replay. We use this information to find usability problems and improve the site.
These services load on public pages, but not on our admin, workspace, or saved-pages areas. We do not intentionally send personal or sensitive information to them. Do not enter personal information into site search or other public free-text fields.
Cookies and controls
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may use cookies or similar technologies to provide their services. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Their own privacy notices explain their controls and data practices.
Service providers
- Google Analytics provides website measurement.
- Microsoft Clarity provides behaviour analytics and session replay on public pages.
- Our newsletter provider processes subscription email addresses when newsletter delivery is configured.
